Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level heat transfer technology consulting services on equipment operation analyses, energy saving, troubleshooting and new technology applications
- Develop user duty design specifications for projects or facility modifications
- Provide non-process Quality Control services for projects via the review of vendors’ detailed designs
- Conduct training on Heat Transfer Engineering for the employees of affiliate companies
- Mentor less experienced Mechanical Engineers on-site
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering, or an equivalent, from a recognized University
- Extensive experience in engineering services for Furnace and/or Heat Exchanger in a refinery/chemical plant
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a Heat Transfer Engineer (Furnace and/or Heat Exchanger) in the oil and gas/chemical/ plant engineering industry
- Good English communication skills (verbal, written and reading)
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and coordination skills, within a multicultural environment
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Knowledge of basic computing tools and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Aptitude for wider aspects of refinery operations
